Mrs. Spina

For those of you that didn’t know, we have a new E.L.L. teacher at Hoffman School and her name is Mrs. Spina. Mrs. Spina was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 23. She has two older sisters. Her dad worked at a glass company and her mom was a minister and then a medical secretary.

While she was growing up, she had one dog. She lived in Chicago her whole life until high school, when she moved to Glenview. In high school, she was the head cheerleader for Glenbrook South High School.

Mrs. Spina went to North Park University in Chicago for college. Her two degrees in college were Elementary Education and Spanish. She was also the head cheerleader of the North Park squad.

Her favorite book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Her favorite movie is Coach Carter, and she is now the head coach of the Glenbrook South Cheerleading Team.

We are all glad to have Mrs. Spina at Hoffman School!
