Ms. Culhane

Ms. Culhane was born in Chicago. She had eight siblings. As a child, she had a collie as a pet. She lived in Park Ridge for the majority of her childhood. Her dad worked in real estate, while her mother stayed home most of the time. Her elementary school was Mary Seat of Wisdom, and her high school was Resurrection. One of her childhood memories is that she and her neighborhood friends tried to play a marathon softball game all night. It failed and the game was stopped at 11:00, but not before they managed to fit in 52 innings!

Ms. Culhane attended Northeastern University in Chicago. She majored in Speech, Computer Science, and Linguistics. She had no minors. Some of her memories are of rafting trips she went on. She played sports just for fun, but was not on a school team.

Ms. Culhane has been teaching for eleven years. Her favorite part of teaching is working with her students and her favorite subject to teach is ELL. She is not married and has no children. She has no pets but she is thinking about getting a Chihuahua. Her favorite movie is It’s a Wonderful Life, her favorite food is pizza, and her favorite hobby is photography.

We’re glad that Ms. Culhane has joined the Hoffman staff!
