
Mr. Gary Riskin
was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. As a kid, his favorite grade was
third grade, but he did not like school very much. He went
to Northeastern Illinois University.
Mr. Riskin has been teaching 3rd grade for 15 years. He chose
teaching because he enjoys working with kids and it’s an
important, challenging job that is never boring.
In present day life, his family consists of his son Micah, him, and
his dog Shirah. He lives in Glenview, Illinois. His favorite kid’s
book is The Phantom Tollbooth, and his favorite adult book
is Ridley Walker.
His favorite
movie is Play it Again Sam. His favorite hobbies are to cook and
read, and in his free time he likes to go to movies and art fairs, and
he
likes to
go bicycling, and backpacking.
An interesting fact about him is that he climbed Mt. Howard in Colorado and
that mountain is 14,492 feet!!
Mr. Riskin is a great teacher and is a very nice man.
