
Mrs. Poehlmann was born in Oak Park, Illinois on
August 24th. She grew up with her mom, dad, and two sisters. Mrs. Poehlmann
was the oldest child in
her family. When she was growing up she had a dog name Blackie who she loved
playing with. Mrs.Poehlmann went to school with her husband, who she met
in grade school.
Mrs. Poehlmann graduated in 1980 from Schaumburg High School. She went to college
at Northern Illinois University, and received her Master’s degree from
National-Louis University.
Mrs. Poehlmann currently teaches 4th grade at Hoffman school. She wanted to
be a teacher because her teachers convinced her to become one, and because
she loves children.
Mrs.Poehlmann lives in Hoffman Estates with her husband John, and their two
daughters Taylor and Aly. Mrs. Poehlmann used to coach her daughter’s
cheerleading team. In her spare time she loves to go to her daughter’s
volleyball, softball and basketball games. She also loves to go to baseball
games and root for the home team—the White Sox! One of her favorite things
to do is to go shopping at Woodfield Mall.
During her spare time she reads magazines, books and watches movies. Her favorite
book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and her favorite
movies are the Harry Potter series, The Mummy Returns, movies with Adam Sandler
in them,
and baseball movies.
If you get to know Mrs. Poehlmann you are very lucky. She is a very nice teacher.
