Ms Lacivita grew up in Glenview and attended Hoffman School! Her
favorite game when she was a kid was Capture the Flag. She participated in
after school activities including tap-dancing and pottery, and she was part
of a softball team. She also liked to babysit. Her favorite teacher was Mr.
Ferguson, a TV teacher. Her favorite grade was fourth grade. Her mom taught
kindergarden and her dad taught at Glenbrook South.
Ms. Lacivita has now taught at Hoffman for seven years. She still likes the
students and teachers she works with. She does a lot of traveling and has even
been to Italy. Her favorite subject is Social Studies. Her favorite authors
are Margaret Peterson Haddix, J.K. Rowling, and Lois Lowry. Her favorite animal
is a penguin. Her favorite foods are seafood, Italian food, coffee, and chocolate.
If she wasn’t a teacher, she would like to direct live television. Her
role models are her parents.
