Children’s Book Author Dan Gutman to Visit Hoffman School

The LRC is thrilled to announce that children’s book author Dan Gutman will be visiting our school on Thursday, May 24, 2007. Mr. Gutman will give three presentations, one to each grade level.

Mr. Gutman started his writing career in 1980. His dream was to be a humor columnist. After writing adult books and articles on one of his great loves, baseball, he decided to try his hand at children’s books. After several successful sports-themed books, he learned the joy of creating new worlds in fiction for young readers. He has written over 40 fiction and non-fiction children’s books. Books written by Mr. Gutman are available for purchase and autographing. Please click here to see the order form. Families interested in ordering books should complete the order form and submit it to the Hoffman LRC on or before May 3, 2007. All books are offered at a 25% discount. On the day of his visit, Mr. Gutman will autograph each book. The students will then receive their orders the following week.
