The students recently read The Wish Giver by Bill Brittian. The novel tells the story of three children who are given the unique opportunity to make one wish come true. Unfortunately, the wishes do not turn out exactly as hoped.
The assignment at the end of the novel unit was to create a three article newspaper, written from the point of view of a Coven Tree reporter. Students were expected to use at least three illustrations from clip art.
