Ms Zar

Ms Zar was born in Highland Park, Illinois on October 15.  When she was three she moved to Lake Forest and that’s where she grew up.  When she was going through school her favorite subject was always creative writing, and in school her favorite teacher was Mr. Wolf.  Her best experience as a child was taking road trips with her family out in the country in their van. 

She knew she wanted to be a social worker when she was a sophomore in college.  She attended college at the University of Illinois in Champaign.  During college she lived in Barcelona for six months, and traveled all around Europe.  She went to graduate school at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Currently she has a black poodle named Kelsey and sometimes babysits her sister’s dog Roxy.  Ms Zar chose to teach at Hoffman School because it is a very welcoming place.

We’re so glad Ms Zar is teaching at Hoffman School!  When you see her, please give her a warm Hoffman welcome!
