Ms Tierney

Ms Tierney, an only child, was born on September 9, in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. When she was in school, her favorite teacher was Miss Troy, who taught fifth grade. 

She went to college at Indiana University and DePaul.  She wanted to be a teacher because she loves to teach Spanish, and to watch children learn.  She teaches third grade bilingual and her favorite subjects are writing and reading.

Her favorite food is strawberries, and her favorite movie is The Sandlot.  In her free time she likes to attend classes, go to the gym, hang out with her family and friends, and read.           

Her advice to Hoffman students is to “Try your best, and if at first you don’t succeed, try again.” If you see her in the hall, be sure to say, “Hola!”
