Mrs. Betancourt

Mrs. Betancourt grew up in Bogota, Colombia in South America with 6 siblings named Celso, Anna, Sara, Tomas, Istmenia, and Miguel. Mrs. Betancourt went to college at Roosevelt University in Chicago. She got a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Medical Technology.

Mrs. Betancourt used to be a medical technologist before she switched to being a teacher. She likes to collect coins and stamps, and her favorite sport is soccer. She also likes to see different cultures. Get ready to toss some salad, because Mrs. Betancourt loves salad! Her all-time favorite book is called 100 years of Solitude. She also really enjoys biology.

She likes birds a lot, and she most admires Hilary Clinton. Mrs. Betancourt wants to go to China because it is cool and different from here. If she could have three wishes, they would be:

1. That her children get a good job
2. To be able to travel a lot, and to travel everywhere
3. For her husband to get well and healthy

Mrs. Betancourt is the best, we all know there’s no contest! She’s really nice and really sweet, if she NEVER retires it would be such a treat!
